| [IsraelTimes] A Paleostinian stabbed and lightly maimed a resident of the southern West Bank settlement outpost of Havat Mor inside his home on Wednesday, the army said. The victim shot the alleged terrorist, who was pronounced dead on the scene by a local doctor, a spokesperson for the Magen David Adom ambulance service said.
The man was in his home when he heard a noise outside. Leaving his home to investigate, he saw a Paleostinian man holding two knives, according to the Ynet news site. The victim then ran back inside his house to get his pistol. The Paleostinian followed him into the living room and stabbed the Israeli man in front of his wife and children, according to the report. The Israeli eventually managed to take out and use his gun on the attacker. The victim, 33, suffered stab wounds to the limbs, Magen David Adom said. He was described as lightly injured. The assailant was identified by the Paleostinian health ministry as Said Muhammad Ali Qisiyeh, 24, from al-Dharia, located near Hebron. On Tuesday, police set up roadblocks and closed streets for several hours in response to suspicions of an unspecified "security incident" in the Beersheba-Rahat area, several kilometers south of the scene of Wednesday’s attack.
