| 1 killed, at least 8 wounded in Kabul explosion |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] An kaboom rocked Kabul ...the capital of Afghanistan. Home to continuous fighting from 1992 to 1996 between the forces of would-be strongman and Pak ISI/Jamaat-e-Islami sock puppet Gulbuddin Hekmayar and the Northern Alliance, a period which won Hek the title Most Evil Man in the Worldand didn't do much for the reputations of the Northern Alliance guys either.... city in the vicinity of the 10th police district earlier this evening, leaving at least one person dead and nearly eight others maimed. A minibus was targeted as it was travelling between Taimani and Qala-e-Fatullah area of the city, carrying the employees of a private telecommunications company. The Ministry of Interior (MoI) front man Sediq Sediqi confirmed the incident and said preliminary reports suggest at least one person was killed and eight others were maimed in the incident. He said the person killed in the attack was a woman and at least eight other were maimed. The type of the kaboom has not been ascertained so far but another official confirmed that the vehicle was carrying the employees of a private telecommunications company and was targeted in a roadside kaboom. |
