Joint Operations Command denies arrival of 2000 US soldiers in Anbar |

[Iraq News] The Joint Operations Command denied on Monday news regarding the arrival of 2000 US Marine soldiers in Anbar Province. The Ministry of Defense’s War Media Cell said in a press statement, "Some media outlets reported that 2000 US soldiers have arrived in Ayn al-Assad base in Anbar Province," adding that, "These news is false and inaccurate." Yesterday, some news claimed that 2000 US Marine soldiers arrived in Ayn al-Assad base in Anbar Province, as an aid from the United States, which leads the international coalition, to Iraq in its war against the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... The news also pointed out that these troops will participate in the expected military operations to liberate the areas of Anah, Rawa and Qaim, west of Anbar. |
