| Syrian Army destroys jihadist HQ in northern Homs |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) carried out a special operation on Thursday that targeted the headquarters of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham in the northern countryside of the Homs Governorate. Led by their Special Mission Forces, the Syrian Arab Army destroyed headquarters of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham in the town of Ghanto, killing several turbans during the short operation. Following the destruction of the jihadist headquarters, the Syrian Air Force emerged in the northern countryside of Homs, striking Harakat Ahrar al-Sham ...a Syria jihadi group made up of Islamists and salafists, not that there's that much difference, formed into a brigade. They make up the main element of the Islamic Front but they don't profess adoration of al-Qaeda and they've been fighting (mainly for survival) against the Islamic State. Their leadership was wiped out at a single blow by a suicide kaboom at a crowded basement meeting in September, 2014... ’s positions in the al-Rastan Plain. |

| #2 It seems commonizing SMF across national armies reduces the remaining 'fighting force' to logistics specialization. A dangerous lack of flexibility when the second string is assigned to carry bags. |
