| Yemeni forces launch missile on Najran |

| Yemeni army and popular committees fired a ballistic missile at the Saudi army compound in Najran on Sunday. A military source confirmed that the missile force of the army and the popular committees fired a homemade ballistic missile, named ‘Somoud’, on the Rajla Saudi camp in Najran, stressing that the missile hit its target with high accuracy. This achievement comes within the series of achievements of the army and the popular committees after two years of steadfastness in the face of the Saudi aggression. “Somoud” missile was launched in September last year as part of the Yemeni efforts to upgrade its arsenal in the face of any foreign aggression. The missile is 4-meter-long and has 300-kg warhead, Yemeni sources said, adding that the missile has a range of 38 kms. The missile was named “Somoud”, referring to the steadfastness of the Yemeni people. |
