| #4 Simply replaces conservative Scalia with another (supposed) conservative Gorsuch. It's filling a 'progressive' seat that is important. |

| #1 I just got a notice that this had happened, and decided to check the Burg before working up an article. Well done, g(r)omgoru! Kudos also to the Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell, who allowed himself to be seen to be forced into using the Reid option. |
