| Two mortar shells fall, two IEDs explode in Diyala |

[Iraq News] An official in Diyala Province revealed, on Sunday, that two mortar shells fell, while two improvised bombs went kaboom!in a village, northeast of Baqubah. Head of al-Abbara area Adnan Mulla Jawad said in a press statement that two mortar shells fell in the vicinity of Zaghiniyah al-Shaghira village (5 km north of al-Abbara area), without causing any casualties. Also, two improvised bombs went kaboom!in the same village, resulting in the loss of a herd of cattle near the area of the kaboom, Jawad added. Jawad also revealed that security forces opened an investigation into the two incidents. |
