The intelligence Service released a statement saying that the international coalition air force, based on accurate information obtained from Iraqi National Intelligence Service, conducted an air strike, targeting a vehicle carrying a number of the Islamic State members. The air strike resulted in the killing of the terrorist Abu Hajar al-Ghareri, the media official of the so-called Wilayat al-Janub, media official of al-Hamza axis the terrorist Abu Ibrahim and the terrorist Abu al-Khattab, as well as wounding two other members, the statement added. Furthermore, the air strike also resulted in the injury of Mohanad Abbas, also known as Abu Saif, the media official of the so-called Wilayat Baghdad. The Intelligence Service did not reveal the location that was bombarded by the international coalition aircraft. Noteworthy, US-led coalition is conducting air strikes, since more than two years, on the Islamic State headquarters and hideouts in Iraq and Syria. |
