Khalid Ibn al-Waleed Army ‐ an ultraconservative group linked to ISIS ‐ claimed that 7 rebels were killed, 9 others injured in the failed offensive on the villages of Jillen, Adwan and al-Jumou’ hilltop. Earlier on Sunday, ISIS launched a surprise attack on the Tanaf Border Crossing with Iraq using a VBIED which have killed at least 3 FSA fighters in the Crossing’s outpost. According to unconfirmed news, the US and Jordanian troops have intervened to repel the attack. |
