Karzai vows to oust US forces from Afghanistan after MOAB strike on ISIS
2017-04-16
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The former Afghanistan's Caped President Hamid Maybe I'll join the Taliban Karzai
... A former Baltimore restaurateur, 12th President of Afghanistan, displacing the legitimate president Rabbani in December 2004. He was installed as the dominant political figure after the removal of the Taliban regime in late 2001 in an attempt to put a Pashtun face on the successor state to the Taliban. After the 2004 presidential election, he was declared president regardless of what the actual vote count was. He won a second, even more dubious, five-year-term after the 2009 presidential election. His grip on reality has been slipping steadily since around 2007, probably from heavy drug use...
has vowed to step up efforts in a bid to oust the US military from the country following the massive Arclight airstrike in Achin Nangarhar
The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country..
against ISIS Lions of Islam involving the non-nuclear GBU-43 bomb.

Karzai made the remarks during a gathering in capital Kabul
...the capital of Afghanistan. Home to continuous fighting from 1992 to 1996 between the forces of would-be strongman and Pak ISI/Jamaat-e-Islami sock puppet Gulbuddin Hekmayar and the Northern Alliance, a period which won Hek the title Most Evil Man in the World and didn't do much for the reputations of the Northern Alliance guys either....
which was organized regarding the Durand Line.

Slamming the government for allowing the US forces to carry out the strike, Karzai said the move would be a national treason if the government had approved the use of the massive bomb.

He also raised questions regarding the increased US Arclight airstrikes against ISIS, saying ’Why the US waited for two years to start bombing ISIS?’

The former President insisted that the use of GBU-43 was an insult to the country and added that he has decided to take a stand to rescue Afghanistan from the United States.

#7  *Boggle* Does he seriously think that any amount of virtue signalling is going to keep the Taliban (or Haqqani, ISIS, et al.) from stringing him up from the nearest lamppost?

#6  I think he hasn't figured out that the elders and the majority of peace-loving Afghans are for the bombing. He must see the light at the end of the tunnel and want to get in on the ground floor on the upcoming corruption.

#2  Hamid Karzai has a brother who runs several restaurants in Baltimore but Hamid, has not participated substantially in the operation. In fact Hamid has been in the US only briefly to do fundraising for anti Taliban groups about 2000. Perhaps he contributed a recipe or two but that's it.
