| Fresh Syrian Army reinforcements arrive in northern Hama as attritional battle ensues |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] A handful of busses carrying newly recruited Syrian soldiers arrived in northern Hama on Saturday to reinforce the government frontline in the area. Upon the direct request of commander-in-chief Suheil al-Hassan, the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) Qalamoun Shield troops were transfered from rural Damascus after completing training led by Russian military advisors in late February.
