| Diyala kops destroy ISIS hideout in al-Wajihiyah |

| Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Diyala Police Command announced, on Monday, arresting a terrorist, in addition to destroying a hideout belonging to the Islamic State during two raids in different areas of the province. The command said in a statement that forces from al-Wajihiyah area police department, backed by the Intelligence Office, arrested a wanted man on charges of terrorism, in the outskirts of the area. Intelligence information also indicated to the presence of a hideout belonging to the Islamic State in al-Hamed Village in the outskirts of Balad Ruz District, the statement added. Joint forces from Balad Ruz Police and Diyala emergency regiment destroyed this hideout, which contained three plastic barrels, 10 blankets and food materials. Noteworthy, security forces in Diyala managed to arrest several wanted people, and seized a large number of the Islamic State’s hideouts in the province, during the previous months. |
