2017-05-02 |
[ALMASDARNEWS] On Monday, Kurdish activists published photos depicting arrival of Russian military units to Afrin canton which is situated in the northwestern part of Aleppo province. A convoy of Russian military police has arrived to a rural area in the aforementioned region. The activists claim that Russian military command in Syria and commanders of Afrin’s People’s Protection Units (YPG) reached an agreement, by the terms of which a Russian military installation will be established in Afrin canton near the Turkish border. According to local sources, this agreement is intended to prevent Turkish Army from attacking YPG positions in the region. Meanwhile, ...back at the abandoned silver mine, the water was up to Jack's neck and still rising. And then he smelled the smoke... the US military vehicles have been spotted in the city of Qamishli in northeast Syria, where they perform the same patrol duties along the Turkish border |
