| Russia Says Syria Safe Zones Closed to US-Coalition Jets |

The United States gave an extremely cautious welcome to the deal, citing concerns over Iran's role as a guarantor, even as it expressed hope that the agreement could set the stage for a settlement. | #1 Hahaha...'no fly zones'. Refugee camps or sanctuary city-states for combatants? New tribal clusters? With the mix of players I don't see this resolving conflict only increasing the friction. However this may give the US a chance to step back from active engagement to take a breather. Always a good thing. |
