U.S., Saudi Jointly Blacklist Hizbullah Official on Eve of Trump Visit

[AnNahar] As U.S. President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
prepared to head to Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. #6  So the trick for President Trump is to support the Saudis without caving in to them and becoming their muscle to fight their battles.

Yes there is a nuanced and delicate balance there. He should also assure them the next time a 911 occurs, Mecca and Medina could be at risk.

#5  I have been thinking about the Saudis and their situation vis a vis the visit of President Trump and Secretary of State Tillerson.

It seems to me that the Saudis are in a real bind. The oil price situation is burning them bad (of their own making), which in many ways a good thing. They are in a serious financial bind, which is not a bad thing at all for us. They realize that they need our help, so as indicated by the five star+ welcome of the US delegation. They sweetened the pot with a $110 billion arms deal. They have developed ties with Israel in similar ways to counter the Iran MM threat.

So the trick for President Trump is to support the Saudis without caving in to them and becoming their muscle to fight their battles.

The delicate art of the deal.
