Advancing in the western Raqqa countryside once again, YPG units captured Yamamah village and established fire control over the Baath dam.

With dangerous mopping-up operations underway as we speak, Kurdish troops have now besieged the Baath dam from two directions and will likely capture the facility in the coming day, thus bringing the three major Euphrates River dams under their control.

Earlier on Tuesday, the SDF liberated four neighboring villages in western Raqqa, more on that development here. A full interactive battle map of the region created an al-Masdar News partner website is also readily available.

group in Kudajran town, west of Raqqa, Qasioun News Agency reported.

According to the media outlet, fierce festivities broke out between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Islamic State group, concurrently with mutual rocket and artillery shelling, in Kudajran town, west of the city of Raqqa.

The festivities broke out after the Syrian Democratic Forces imposed their control, yesterday, over the villages of Chaib el Aaouaj and western Salhabeya, west of Raqqa, and Buwayda and al-Nasira, east of the city.

Noteworthy, Syrian Democratic Forces, backed by international coalition air force, managed to recapture many areas and villages in the city of Raqqa, within the military operation codenamed "Euphrates Wrath."
