[Iraq News] Internal wrangles between Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
members in Kirkuk have left one senior area ruler dead, an official was quoted saying on Thursday as the province awaits liberation of IS havens.

Alsumaria News quoted Sadeq al-Husseini, chairman of the security committee at Kirkuk council, saying that the "mayor of Diyala", who was temporarily appointed by supreme leader His Supreme Immensity, Caliph of the Faithful and Galactic Overlord, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi
...formerly merely the head of ISIL and a veteran of the Bagram jailhouse. Looks like a new messiah to bajillions of Moslems, like just another dead-eyed mass murder to the rest of us...
, was killed with two other companions when members engaged in an infighting near the group’s stronghold town of Hawija, southwest of Kirkuk.

Husseini said the fight was a part of a series of recent disputes among IS leaderships in Hawija, adding that senior members have traded accusations of causing defeats and loss of members to security forces in Mutaibija, an area on the borders between Diyala and Salahuddin.

Most of Islamic State’s so-called "Diyala Province" leaders have stationed in Hawija for the past two years after security forces took over the group’s havens there in early 2015.

On Tuesday, Alsumaria News quoted an official source in Kirkuk saying that IS had opened alternative headquarters for its so-called "Nineveh State", "Dijlah State", "Salahuddin State" and "Diyala State" in Hawija. He said big shots had entered the town in armored vehicles after having fled battles with security forces in Nineveh. The source added that IS murderous Moslems cut a number of main roads and subjected them to a curfew.

"Hawija has now become the group’s main haven, with members split between Hawija and Tal Afar an Baaj (west of Nineveh)," said the source.

Death Eaters are redeploying at villages located on the borders between Diyala and Salahuddin, a local official said, warning that the fact puts areas recaptured by security forces at danger.

Udai al-Khadran, mayor of al-Khales town, north of Baqubah, told Alsumaria News that IS redeployed its fighters at the villages of Boubakr, Boawad and Boutaraz near the borders with Salahuddin. The three villages had been empty of residents for three years, Khadran said, adding that they had not seen a security presence for all that period.

According to the official, the three villages enjoy a "strategic location", and represent "a direct threat" to neighboring villages and nearby liberated areas.
