| Russian senator accuses TASS of hiding stats on kids |

| A Russian senator released a minority report on the scale of government seizing children in the juvenile justice system, saying that the government news agency TASS is hiding the real statistics, according to a Russian language news account. Elena Mizulina, in holding a press conference in Moskva on Tuesday, said that in 2015, the Russian government seized a total of 309,000 children from their families and placed them in "other settings", presumably state controlled care unnecessarily.
