Backed by Russian Arclight airstrikes, the Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Corps and 18th Tank Division managed to liberate at least two points near the al-Sha’er Gas Fields, while also killing and wounding scores of Islamic State terrorists.

According to a military source in Palmyra, the Syrian Arab Army liberated points 943 and 1005 in the al-Sha’er Mountains of Homs.
