US Air Force grounds an entire squadraon of F-35 fighter jets after pilots were 'deprived of oxygen' in the cockpit
2017-06-10
[DailyMail] - Training flights of F-35 warplanes were halted at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona

- Five incidents were reported in which pilots complained of lack of oxygen

- Air Force says the incidents occurred from May 2 until Thursday

- F-35A Lightning II aircraft is manufactured by Lockheed Martin Corp
May be interesting to backtrack on the O2 system procurement universe.
No doubt the Israelis are coming up with fixes for thse little problems. It sounds like a field trip for the product engineering team is in order.

#3  Interesting you bring up Prince newc. Like Trump, he's a member of the hated (but highly effective) beltway counterculture.

#2  Also, the POS Airforce wants to junk the A-10 for a new junk B2 which will be co un-necessary. Every new car in the show room, the Airforce wants to buy and shut everything else out.

And Congress is aiding bad behavior. They want aerial aircraft carriers with drone swarms.
One hit takes that out, or a hack.

I think more about Ravens and Erik Prince and his cheap army of tiny aircraft.
He can dig US out of many problems were you to stop bending him over every time he does something good for the US Government.

I AM almost afraid to ask.

#1  We would be two steps forward with the F-22 - it used the same system and it is a problem.

But F-22 are holding everything together right now.
I also see the idiot airforce want tos still can the A-10. Could we please give that project to the Army with it's funding.
I AM very angry to have to see this every quarter when there is no replacement.

Also, Does anyone see a problem with putting the U.S. Coast Guard under the DOD - without same Legal Restrictions (Posse Comitatus) -

At least that way, maybe I could get two New F$%&*ng Ice breakers I have been bitching about for a Decade.

The training is the same but having a Coast Guard with more leverage could be an asset to the way Russia and China especially have enlarged their reach over the seas.

Considering the Russians new found elevated interest in routing over the North Pole, would it not be prudent that Our Coast Guard have the dual authority and the correct chain to use it;

Seeing as these other "Strategic Competitors are going to be using their blue flag fleets as well?
