| Huge Roadside bomb hits army convoy near Jowhar |

| [SHABELLENEWS] A remote-controlled land mine kaboom struck a military convoy carrying Somali government forces in the outskirts of Jowhar town, 90Km north of the capital Mogadishu. Confirming the incident, Balcad district commissioner Osman Mohammed Mohamud "Hadoole" said one of the vehicles in the convoy ran over the roadside kaboom, and caused no casualties. The soldiers tossed in the slammer Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please! several people in connection with the IED attack that took place in a remote area located between Balcad and Jowhar towns in Middle Shabelle region. No group has grabbed credit for the attack, but, Al shabaab often carried out such ambushes on Somali and AU forces in the region, and elsewhere in the horn of Africa nation. |
