[The Blaze] There is now proof that Russians did try to meddle in the United States’ 2016 presidential election, and hearings in the Senate continue to determine if President Donald Trump was somehow involved. Receiving decidedly less press is a closed-door hearing on whether former President Barack Obama tried to "unmask" members of Trump’s campaign.However, Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY.) has delayed efforts to discover if the previous administration inappropriately used intelligence information to identify U.S. citizens. Chris Salcedo asked on today’s "Chris Salcedo Show" why these Senate activities are not major news.
It is considered part of the Russia investigation due to the reason the intelligence was being gathered; the Obama administration did know that they were attempting to hack the election. Chris wondered why the former president did not do something about Russian interference when he knew about it.
"The Democrats don’t want to harm the Russians," he concluded.
