| Explosion hits jihadists HQ in south Aleppo, casualties reported |

| [AlMasdar] An ISIS jacket wallah has blown himself up in a building where a meeting was held between several jihadi groups in the southern countryside of Aleppo. According to local reports, a high-level meeting was taking place between bigwigs from Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (al-Qaeda offshoot in Syria), Ahrar al-Sham ...a Syria jihadi group made up of Islamists and salafists, not that there's that much difference, formed into a brigade. They make up the main element of the Islamic Front but they don't profess adoration of al-Qaeda and they've been fighting (mainly for survival) against the Islamic State. Their leadership was wiped out at a single blow by a suicide kaboom at a crowded basement meeting in September, 2014... and local tribes leaders in al-Najjar village in southern Aleppo, when an ISIS bomber detonated his vest outside the facility. Three guards were killed, others injured in the attack. |
