A few points; --There are 4 facilities in RU - 1 x Embassy and 3 x Consulates. --I could check but I think the number of US Direct Hire Diplomats in RU is about 800 to 900. --I'm not defending DOS just trying to show ground truth. |

| #9 WTF do you need 1500 people at an embassy???? Let's look at other embassies and pull the plug on the hangers on. In Moscow, 775 were cut loose. Got to cost the USGovt $100K apiece, so we are talking $77.5 million. Now that is a sizeable chunk of change. How many in the UK, how many in Canada, Germany, France? Etc etc. Chop chop chop. |
