The group claimed responsibility for carrying out the July 2012 Damascus bombing that killed Defense Minister Dawoud Rajiha, Deputy Defense Minister Asef Shawkat, and Assistant Vice President Hassan Turkmani. It was a driving force behind actions in the Damascus region. It cooperated and conducted joint operations with al-Nusra. Hours ago, twenty-five (25) fighters belonging to the Jaish al-Islam bad boy faction were killed and another 15 injured after an ISIS jacket wallah let 'er rip at one of the rebel group’s military camps.
The attack took place in the town of Nassib in the eastern countryside of Daraa Governoarate.
How the ISIS suicide bomber was able to infiltrate the Jaish al-Islam’s military complex still remains a mystery.
