Gas prices jump in Kansas City as Hurricane Harvey continues to pound Gulf Coast |

[Kansas City Star] Gas prices in the Kansas City area have jumped 13 cents since last week as Hurricane Harvey continues to pound the Gulf Coast. The average price for regular gas is $2.29 a gallon in Kansas City Tuesday, according to the AAA. That’s up 5 cents from Monday and 13 cents from a week ago. In Kansas City, Kan., the average price for regular gas on Tuesday is $2.36, also up 5 cents a gallon from Monday and 13 cents from a week ago, according to the AAA. GasBuddy.com says the average price for gas is rising in the Kansas City area. The average price in Kansas City is $2.34 a gallon, according to the website. |

#2 That is, 1.2 million head. I'm guessing problem #1 is whatever the proper term for swamp hoof is, then potable water, then food. Lots of things going on and the clock keeps ticking. Apparently there are reports of a chemical plant lost power backup and refrigeration is failing. |
