| Syrian Army envelopes ISIL stronghold in east Hama |

| [AlMasdar] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their advance in the eastern countryside of Hama this evening, following the liberation of al-Mashirayfeh and Jabal al-Bilas south of ’Uqayrbat. Led by the 38th Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division, the Syrian Arab Army stormed the two towns of Qastal Shamali and Qastal Wastani, where they were confronted by an exhausted Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (ISIS) unit at ’Uqayrbat’s eastern flank. According to a military source in Hama, the Syrian Arab Army is still fighting at the entrances of Qastal Shamali and Qaastal Wastani, but should enter the two towns in the coming hours. With the Syrian Army advancing from all flanks towards ’Uqayrbat, the Islamic State find themselves enveloped in their last stronghold in the central region of Syria. |
