| Saudi bombing kills 9 members of same family |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] At least nine civilians, five of whom were only children, have been killed on Tuesday when an air bombardment by the Saudi Airforce struck a residential area in northwest Yemen, according to local sources. The victims were killed during a Saudi air raid on the Kushar district of the Yemeni province of Hajjah, about 130 kilometres northwest of the Yemeni capital of Sana’a. Reportedly, the four women and five children were all members of one and the same local family. Possibly in retaliation to the murderous air raid, Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews... loyalist troops of the Yemeni Armed Forces and allied fighters from the Popular Committees fired a Qaher M2 ballistic missile at an assembly of foreign mercenaries loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in the al-Hazm district of the northern province of Jawf. No reports have surfaced thus far of casualties and material losses amongst the pro-Saudi forces here. |
