Kim Jong-un: 'Deranged' Trump will 'pay dearly'
2017-09-22
[Al Jazeera] Kim Jong-un responds to US president's 'totally destroy' threat by calling Donald Trump a 'rogue and a gangster'

#12  Compared to Nukes and Hydrogen bombs which only the heavy Kim has, not very intimidating.

#11  Besoeker, I changed your link to point directly to the article to which your comment is attached.

South Korean covert elements would be ideal in these efforts.

South Koreans are a head taller, considerably heavier, and have the body language of free men, not slaves.

#10  Kim watches the US media closely. Therefore, covert operations and strategies against Kim will not be known until the prize pig has been seized or neutralized. South Korean covert elements would be ideal in these efforts. They look like all Koreans and speak the same lingo. The ideal situation is for him to be remanded to custody in Seoul alive. Allowed to stay alive in SK as long as NK behaves.

#9  However I'm afraid none of your suggested strategic steps will be enacted.

And I am afraid you are correct.

#8  Thank you Besoeker. Good analysis, good strategy. (Add Iran to the analysis and we have a three-front world war brewing?) Rather than outright cutting off China's exports, I would encourage industry here and in other countries to undermine China by a steady shift towards all other trade partners (5-10% a year would rapidly squeeze their economy).

However I'm afraid none of your suggested strategic steps will be enacted. The governing class is too busy destroying any greatness left in this country to take external threats seriously. A bit like Puerto Rico being bankrupt while not spending one cent on resilient infrastructure and their lasting defense.

#7  Ah.... here they are. Unfortunately, they are probably worth about what you'll be paying for them.

#6  I posted some rambling thoughts a few days ago, but am unable to retrieve them from the archive si vis pacem, para bellum. Perhaps TW can assist.

#5  Short of war, is there anything that can and ought to be done to stop NK's development of long-range missiles plus hydrogen bombs? if it is war that is needed, why wait?

"Stoner"?
