| 9 die in friendly air attack in Helmand |

| An Afghan Air Force (AAF) helicopter on Sunday missed its target in southern Helmand’s Greshk district and killed nine Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF), Helmand governor spokesman Omar Zawak told TOLOnews. The helicopter missed the target and bombed the ANSF in which nine soldiers were killed and ten were wounded. Among those killed, one was an NDS soldier, one was an NDS officer and seven were local security force members. The airstrike was carried out by a MD 130 helicopter on Sunday afternoon around 4pm local time. |
