| Syrian forces cut ISIS supply lines in Deir Ezzor |

| Deir Ezzor (Syria News) The Syrian army announced, late on Thursday, that its troops have cut off the supply lines of the Islamic State group in Deir Ezzour, Qasioun News reported on Friday. The news outlet revealed that the Syrian army troops managed to recapture Halabiya area, in northern Deir Ezzor from the Islamic State militants, and cut off their supply lines in the neighborhoods of the city. Meanwhile, Russian military sources informed that the regime troops retook the neighborhoods of Baloom and Mdehi, located in the town of Mayadeen, backed by artillery shelling and air strikes on the Islamic State headquarters in the school of industry and Electricity Company in the city. |
