US-led coalition says 100 IS fighters in Raqqa surrendered in last 24 hours |
2017-10-15 |
[Ynet] Around 100 Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... fighters have surrendered in Syria's Raqqa in the last 24 hours and were "removed from the city", a front man for the US-led coalition against Islamic State said on Saturday. "We still expect difficult fighting in the days ahead and will not set a time for when we think (Islamic State) will be completely defeated in Raqqa," Colonel Ryan Dillon said in an emailed statement. |

#3 And they accepted? Bet you it was simply former members coming back to the Coalition side after abandoning it to ISIS. Would explain the "Alive" part. |
