[InterAksyon] A former village chieftain of Sumisip, Basilan was beheaded by Abu Sayyaf militants, the said. Provincial police chief Nickson Muksan said Hadji Najer Bohong, former chairman of Barangay Mahatalang, had gone to Sitio Upper Bato Lareg on Saturday to pick up timber to be used in his house. However, Bohon’s relatives found his body on Sunday morning.Muksan said their investigation indicated that followers of Abu Sayyaf sub-leader Furuji Indama had seized Bohong. Bohong’s relatives buried him on Saturday afternoon but his head is still missing.
