1 dead in bombing attack Friday
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A civilian was killed, four others were wounded in a bomb blast in southwestern Baghdad, a security source said on Friday.
“A bomb went off in the morning near a market in al-Radwaniya region, southwest of Baghdad, leaving a civilian killed and four others wounded,” the source told AlSumaria News.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the source added that security troops cordoned off the blast scene. “The victim’s body was transferred to forensic medicine, while the wounded were taken to nearby hospital for treatment.”
Kop dies in bomb detonation in Abu Ghraib
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A police conscript was killed on Saturday in an IED blast in west of Baghdad, a security source said.
“An IED, placed under a civil vehicle boarded by a police conscript, exploded while as the victim was on way to al-Zidan region in ABu Ghraib, causing his immediate death,” the source told AlSumaria News.
Security troops cordoned off the blast spot, according to the source, who preferred anonymity. “Ambulance transferred the victim to forensic medicine department.”
