Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar said that police conducted a raid at a house in the Ahsanabad area of Karachi after receiving a tip from an intelligence agency. Officials recovered two 30-bore pistols, one 9mm pistol along with propaganda literature from the possession of the suspects, the SSP said. "Books, pamphlets, stickers and CDs regarding terrorism were recovered from their custody," Rao Anwar said. He claimed that the suspects were planning to recruit young people for their Death Eater group. The detained suspects were identified as Muhammad Umer, Khalid Minhas and Shakeel Ahmed. |
