| Suicide attack rocks Kandahar in South of Afghanistan |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] An kaboom rocked southern Kandahar province in West of Afghanistan later this afternoon. Preliminary reports indicate a jacket wallah has detonated his explosives close to a convoy of the foreign forces in Dand district. Provincial governor’s front man Qudratullah Khoshbakht confirmed that a heavy kaboom has taken place in Dand district but did not disclose further information regarding the type of the blast and the possible casualties. A security official in Dand district confirmed that a suicide bomber detonated a vehicle packed with explosives close to a convoy of the foreign forces. He said there are no reports available regarding the casualties as a result of the kaboom. |
