Speaking at on Friday at the Mediterranean Dialogue Forum in Rome Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said that Hezbollah had used Lebanese banks to smuggle and launder money for their terrorist activities. "We have no relations with Israel and we are waiting for the grinding of the peace processor," he said. He said that the Iranians have been unable to change the balance of power in Yemen. He considered the targeting by Iranian allies, the Houthis, of some Saudi villages as "desperate attempts" and expressed the hope that they would realize that they cannot control the Yemeni state. Al-Jubeir said Saudi Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman had started the fight against corruption from the top. "The Saudi people are beginning to feel the restoration of their homeland," he said. Al-Jubeir explained that Saudi Arabia has been a victim of terrorism and is engaged in a fierce war against it, stressing that the Kingdom has initiatives to combat the financing of terrorism. |
