(IS) launched an attack against the al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham
rebel group inside the northeastern countryside of the Hama Governorate.As a result of the Islamic State’s offensive, the terrorist group has now entered the Idlib Governorate and captured several towns inside this province in northern Syria.
Making matters worse for the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, they find themselves under a heavy attack from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) near the strategic town of al-Rahjan.
With the pressure mounting, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham may not hold onto al-Rahjan for much longer, as the Syrian Army’s Tiger Forces redeploy their troops to the northeastern countryside of Hama.
