| ISIS hideout uncovered near strategic town in southeast Homs |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) uncovered a large Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (ISIS) hideout that was used to launch sporadic attacks against the government in the mountains surrounding the strategic town of Quraytayn. According to a report from the Syrian military, the SAA discovered this ISIS hideout while combing through a number of caves in the Quraytayn Mountains. The one cave used by the Islamic State to house their fighters and military equipment was abandoned by the terrorist group before the Syrian Arab Army arrived. The Syrian Army is now working to clear the remaining caves in southeast Homs that might be occupied by the Islamic State. |
