| Forces launch search operation in Tral villages after recovery of Jaish militant’s body |

| [GREATERKASHMIR] A Jaish-e-Mohammad ...literally Army of Mohammad, a Pak-based Deobandi terror group founded by Maulana Masood Azhar in 2000, after he split with the Harkat-ul-Mujaheddin. In 2002 the government of Pervez Musharraf bannedthe group, which changed its name to Khaddam ul-Islam and continued doing what it had been doing before without missing a beat... Death Eater, identified as Umar Bhai died when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off accidentally in a hideout at Handura forest area of Tral today morning. His body was found along with a note by locals in Tral Eidgah following which they alerted the police. Search operation was launched immediately after the incident in Wagad, Pastuna, Seer and Handura villages, SSP Awantipora Mohammed Zahid Malik told Greater Kashmire. The operation was on when this report was being filed. |
