The provincial government media office in a statement said the Afghan cops conducted counter-terrorism operations against the terror group in Khogyani and Haska Mina districts in the past 24 hours.
The statement further added that the operations were conducted with the air support and as a result at least nine IS faceless myrmidons were killed and five others were maimed.
At least seven of the faceless myrmidons were killed in Khogyani district and five others were maimed while two others were killed in Haska Mina district.
