#7  They don’t have enough water, and waste what they have; they haven’t enough fuel to boil what they do have; and most of the country is under the influence of qat from noon onward each day, so even filtering the water before use is likely not done consistently. Then there are the wars — Houthis against Saudi Arabia, Al Qaeda against whoever wanders by their tribal hideouts...

The wonder is that they all aren’t dead of everything.
