I realize no one studies history any more, but the all that business about "rockets red glare, bombs bursting in air" was about the British bombarding Fort McHenry in the Baltimore Harbor during the War of 1812. Are you surprised people are offended that the Baltimore football team would go to a foreign country, who we happened to be at war with way back when, and kneel for our national anthem but stand for the British one? Good luck fixing that! |
