| #2 The "swamp" is entrenched middle management. Consider the guy that POTUS/NYT Ownership installs over an organization. What is the first thing that you do? Ask to be briefed. And who briefs you? Entrenched middle management who controls the levers of power and knows where the bodies are buried. They simply lie and manipulate the information flow. You have to have an independent way to gather information because it isn't worth asking a question if you can't determine the truth of the answer. The FBI 7th floor is the swamp. If it was me, I would RIF them all. Then focus on Homeland and DOJ middle management next. Silence is assent. |
