The soldier required medical treatment for his injuries. Israeli forces carry out nightly raids in the West Bank to arrest suspects alleged to be involved in rock throwing, rioting and what it terms as terror activity. Recent weeks have seen an uptick in violence following the December 6 announcement by Trump that he would recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. |
