Islamist rebels admit heavy losses in east Damascus

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Salafist tough guys of Faylaq al-Rahman published a statement on Thursday mourning the death of several fighters and their field commander, Hassan al-Boshi, during the fierce battle for the Harasta suburb of east Damascus.

According to the statement released by Faylaq al-Rahman, at least 16 of their fighters were killed when an Arclight airstrike hit a building they were positioned at near the vehicle base in Harasta.

In addition to the Faylaq al-Rahman casualties, their allies from Harakat Ahar al-Sham and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham
 also suffered heavy losses from this airstrike, with corpse count estimated to be between 20 to 25 hard boyz for the aforementioned jihadist groups.

On Thursday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a massive counter-offensive to recapture the territory around the vehicle base and to lift the siege around this imperative military installation.
