Why Are Strzok And Page Still At The FBI? - Did Someone Delete Their Texts?
2018-01-26
[Townhall] Sara Carter, formerly of Circa News, dropped by Fox And Friends Tuesday morning to discuss the latest batch of FBI texts between FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok and bureau lawyer Lisa Page. The two sent tens of thousands of texts, riddled with anti-Trump swipes and praise for Hillary Clinton. It’s clear that these two did not want Donald Trump to be president. The exchanges initially raised eyebrows over an August 15, 2016 text, where Strzok mentioned an "insurance policy" after a meeting with Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

Keep in mind; this is the man who signed off on the bureau’s counterintelligence probe into whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians a month earlier. Is this in reference to the Trump dossier? Some say it could be, which is also alleged to have been the basis to secure FISA warrants against members of the Trump campaign. Now, we have a new and rather cryptic text from Lisa Page sent to Strzok the day after the 2016 election, where she mentions a secret society. Is it a joke? Maybe. Does it absolve them of their incredibly unethical and unprofessional behavior that’s put the credibility of the FBI on the line? No. These people were responsible for investigating with objectivity. Strzok was involved in the Russian collusion and Hillary email fiasco, and believe me‐there’s some glaring discrepancies on that one.

#12  People involved, not that smart. Wat u see is probably wat it is.

It's not so much a question of smarts as a question of getting away with so much, they lost all sense of proportion.

#9  Has anyone considered the texts are a ruse to some other end? Consider the source, counter intelligence, texting, really? the steamy affair, the timing. Is it a set up to cover something much deeper. That could explain non-firings.

#8  I don't see McCabe, Priestap, or Rosenstein not getting it in the shorts also.

#7  I will be very disappointed if these two "star-crossed lovers' will end as scapegoats while Comey & McCabe walk free.

#6  I bet they figured out a way to archive the texts locally on their cellphones to avoid the server archive. That ability may be the "glitch" that DoJ is talking about but won't admit.

I find it interesting that Strzok's fingerprints are all over this mess. He ran the email investigation, he was the guy who interviewed Flynn (which by the way was an ambush interview with no announcement or appointment), and he was the guy that probably co-authored the various FISA warrants.

Seems to me that he and Priesap are the point men on this coup d'etat

#5  Don't you think Mr Strzok's socks and Orange outfit will be provided for him by the taxpayer?

#4  imho, they are disposable pressure relief valves for a very bad story that will most assuredly be revealed.

#3  I have to imagine that Mr. Strzok‘s home life has recently become more interesting by the day, and the divorce after this is all over will leave him with no more than a spare pair of socks.

#1  The question that has been asked many times (and we know the answer) - do you know how difficult it is to fire a Federal employee?
