Pakpour, who did not say where the clash took place exactly stated that three of the Revolutionary Guard fighters were killed.

The Commander said that they had been following the turbans for several days.

Pakpour said that 16 ISIS members were jugged

#3  Does this mean if the shooting is in Najaf Tarakomeh that ISIS gunnies are running about in Iran?
If so, that is quite interesting.

#1  najaf, Iraq is in a Shiite part of Iraq but it is over 100 miles from the Iran border

najaf, Iran is near the northern (not western) border of Iran in eastern Iran

there is also a najaf tarakomeh in the northwest of Iran
