| Knife-wielding Palestinian arrested by Border Policeman near entrance to Tomb of the Patriarchs | ||

Maw! They're comin' to get me, Maw! by Border Policemen near one of the security checkpoints at the entrance to the Tomb of the Patriarchs complex in Hebron. An inquiry into the incident turned up that the Paleostinian, a boy from one the villages around Hebron, arrived to the checkpoint where forces found the knife on his person. An initial interrogation found he intended to carry out a terrorist attack. He was handed over to security forces for further interrogation.

| #1 I heard, from friends son who served at checkpoints, that this happens regularly - they come to checkpoint, stop a few meters off and say "I have a knife". Thereby they are detained overnight, get 3 meals, and sent back. |
