| Afghan intelligence thwart car bombing plot in Jalalabad city |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Afghan intelligence operatives have thwarted a plot by the anti-government armed bad boy groups to detonate a boom-mobile in Jalalabad city, the picturesque provincial capital of Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province. Nangarhar governor’s front man Ataullah Khogyani told news hounds that the Afghan intelligence operatives discovered and confiscated a vehicle-borne improvised bomb from Rod district as the Khogyani further added that the boom-mobile was seized from Dami Ghondi area and blamed the Haqqani terrorist network for planning the attack. He said the boom-mobile exploded shortly after it was captured and around 250 kgs of explosives, 8 rockets, some hand grenades, and some other explosives were also discovered from the vehicle. The anti-government armed bad boy groups including the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... murderous Moslems have not commented regarding the report so far. |
